Woman charged for DWI after leaving liquor store

A tip that was given to police from an anonymous caller led to a 66-year-old New Jersey woman's drunk driving charges on Feb. 19. The caller reportedly told police that they witnessed a person driving erratically in Hopatcong at around 5:30 pm. According to the caller, the driver was swerving on Holiday Drive before pulling into the parking lot of the Liquor Factory.

Man accused of drunk driving after truck crash

New Jersey State Police say a driver received criminal charges in relation to a three-vehicle crash that took place in Bernards Township on Oct. 3. The 49-year-old man was allegedly seen driving erratically in a Nissan Pathfinder SUV before colliding with a tractor-trailer. Although a second tractor-trailer was also involved in the crash, troopers say that truck was gone by the time they arrived.

Father faces DUI charge after trying to pick up son at school

A New Jersey man has been arrested and charged with DUI after allegedly driving to his child’s school and trying to pick him up while inebriated. The incident occurred on a recent Tuesday afternoon in Chatham. Police arrived at the school at approximately 1:30 p.m. following a call from the principal of the school, who told authorities that the father appeared to be drunk. The man must now answer the DUI charge in court.

New Jersey man charged with DUI

A New Jersey man from Budd Lake was recently apprehended by authorities on charges of drunk driving. A passenger in the man's vehicle was also arrested after police determined that an outstanding warrant was out for his arrest.
